Searching for a wedding minister or officiant for your ceremony? This is the right place.  We perform simple ceremonies for any couple wishing to share their lives. We perform wedding ceremonies, commitment ceremonies, and renewal ceremonies for those who wish to renew their vows.  Whichever ceremony you choose, it will be performed with dignity and sincerity.

Place

We will travel to your wedding location to perform the ceremony, or you are welcome to come to my home for an impromptu, no frills wedding ceremony.

Wedding ceremonies can be performed in churches or other traditional setting, but weddings can also be held in many non-traditional setting, homes, city parks, historic sites, banquet halls or your special place. Your wedding should be a reflection of your love for one another, an event that you will cherish forever, 

Time

We are available to perform wedding ceremonies evenings and weekends. Special days and times can be arranged with sufficient notice.

Ceremony

You can use one of our many standard wedding ceremonies, or you may write your own wedding vows. We would be happy to work with you to achieve the wedding ceremony of your dreams. 

Non-Denominational

We are a non-denominational wedding service. Two people, who love each other, wish to share a life together and wish to make their comment to each other, should be allowed to make that declaration with their friend and family around them.

Monday – Sunday: $175.00

Impromptu Wedding Ceremony in our home – $75.00

*Holidays include: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

We typically arrive 15-20 minutes before the scheduled time for the ceremony. This is the time to take care of paperwork and discuss the ceremony.  After the ceremony, all required paperwork will be sent to the appropriate courthouse on the following business day.  There are no additional fees or charges for filing the paperwork in a timely manner. A keepsake marriage certificate will be given to the bride and groom. If the bride is going to change her name she will need to apply for a certified certificate from the state.

Impromptu Ceremonies

Your wedding ceremony can be performed in our home with very little notice. You will need to call before hand to make sure that we are available. Witnesses are required in Missouri, so please bring two witnesses and your marriage license.  If you do not have witnesses, we can provide them.  Missouri no longer requires a three-day waiting period to get a marriage license.  Check with your particular state to see if they require a waiting period.  Please plan accordingly so that you will have your license on the day of the wedding. We will still file the paperwork and a keepsake certificate can be mailed to the bride and groom if they wish to have one. Travel

We would be happy to travel to your wedding location. The above prices are for any wedding location within 25 miles of our home. There is no travel charge if the wedding takes place within 25 miles of our home.  Beyond 25 miles of our home, travel is computed at $1.00 per mile.  Example, if the wedding is located 80 miles from our home the travel fee is $55 in addition to the officiating fee.

Rehearsals

We do not attend the wedding rehearsals, as it is generally not necessary.  If you feel the need for us to attend the rehearsal, there will be an additional $50 plus any travel fees for locations beyond 25 miles.  If you are planning an elaborate wedding, we can get instruction from the wedding planner on the day of the ceremony.

Receptions

We do not stay for the wedding reception unless you have requested that our photographer take your wedding photos (See additional services menu)

Reserving Your Special Day

To reserve your wedding date we require a $50 deposit in the form of cash check or money order.  Dates and times are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. This deposit is NOT in addition to the officiating fee.  The deposit goes toward the total officiating fee and is non- refundable.  If for any reason you need to cancel the ceremony and I receive 7 days notice, you will receive a refund of any monies paid except for the $50 deposit.

Payment

You may pay by cash, check, or money order. The entire wedding officiating fee plus any mileage fee must be paid in full on the day of or prior to the day of the wedding, no exceptions. There will be a $50.00 service fee on checks that do not clear.
